At Ivan Tuohy Constructions we provide project management, custom built residential homes, commercial build projects, erecting of custom build or kit sheds, and building renovations and extensions. Whilst we may not to be the cheapest builder on the market, we provide quality tradesmen, competitive purchasing power on supplies and materials and exceptional project management skills which helps keep each build project on a tight time-line.

Starting in 2010, we have built a business based on our ability to deliver projects to agreed programs and client budgets with minimum fuss, whilst exceeding quality expectations. We’re a specialist construction company and building services provider based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, but our service area extends to Fraser Coast/Wide Bay and North Brisbane.

Cost Options

At the quoting stage of each building project we won’t give a square metre rate and restricted choice of products like project builders; we’ll allow the client to choose, then provide them with a variation of quotes, so the client can choose what they’d prefer.

Value For Money

Where a project builder may give ‘free extras or upgrades’ depending on their deal of the month, we will give better overall value for money, better quality build and finishes, better re-sale of the project, but also the title of having an Ivan Tuohy Constructions custom-built project.

Ivan Tuohy commenced his Carpentry trade at 16 years old, having a passion for working with timber, and now 26 years later, his attention to detail and quality craftsmanship exceeds the standard expectations on any type of project he puts his name to.

Andrew Thompson
Andrew ThompsonSite Supervisor
Shorty has extensive experience in carpentry and building on the Sunshine Coast. He has built a solid database of contacts who can attest to his quality advice, service and hardworking attitude and has a reputation of taking on the big jobs and delivering within time and under budget. On the weekends you’ll find Shorty on the golf course throwing the clubs around.

Chris Oliver
Chris OliverForeman
Olly has grown into a quality site supervisor for Ivan Tuohy Constructions and is currently in control of the build of an over 50’s lifestyle village at Hervey Bay. Olly continues to build relationships with the contractors and residents to ensure a safe and smooth running project. Olly is a pretty mean dancer who loves to kick off his boots at the end of the week and hit the dance floor.

Adam Cant
Adam CantProject Manager / Estimator
Adam’s role is completing tenders where labour and materials are individually calculated and to ensure the cost control during the project is accurate. He also creates project schedules that determine the critical path of the project and the show the task dependencies and hold points of the project as well as lead times for trades and suppliers. Adam ensures that Ivan Tuohy Constructions is compliant with all BCA and QBCC requirements and legislation by completing all the necessary Contracts and Agreements as well as creating the Work Health and Safety Management plans and collate subcontractor Safe Work Method Statements to ensure they comply with Work Health and Safety legislation. Adam has a young active family and is a mad keen golfer.
